[Tangerang, Indonesia] – In September 2015, Martin Engineering participated in the Mining Indonesia Exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia. The conference featured more than 678 companies and 4,109 exhibitors, drawing over 12,000 visitors to the 33,274 m2 convention area.

As part of the event, Martin Engineering Indonesia conducted a special workshop: a Mini Foundations™ ‘Total Solution’ Training session. The three-day seminar provided information about the techniques and technologies to improve conveyor performance and plant efficiency by reducing dust and spillage at belt conveyor loading zones. Included in the training was discussion of improved belt support systems, dust management technologies, passive dust filter bags and small footprint air cleaners. These systems were designed to provide an extended service life, while simplifying service procedures when maintenance is required. The training was deemed a success by the 40 attendees, who received guidance on the optimum solutions to resolve common conveyor issues.

Martin Indonesia also displayed its family of EVO® Conveyor Products, which set a new standard for conveyor design and function. Visitors to the company’s booth included end users, OEMs, EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) professionals and consultants. During the exhibition, Martin personnel answered a variety of questions, explaining the EVO design philosophy that reconsiders traditional conveyor design from the ground up and places more emphasis on safety, fugitive material control amd ease of service. Visitors also obtained information about the company’s belt cleaning products that help make conveyor systems cleaner, safer and more productive.

Martin Engineering Indonesia is able to provide solutions for virtually any conveyor system challenges, ranging from spillage, carryback and dust to belt alignment, edge sealing and material transfers. The company’s participation in this exhibition was designed to reinforce its brand image and introduce Martin Engineering’s products to the Southeast Asia market, specifically in Indonesia.
